                                              2021

             May
      Wednesday 26th

Enjoyable day in court, after wasting roughly £1000.00 on solicitor fees and following there instructions to plead not guilty, I was found guilty of drug driving. The judge was a prick and had no interest in the circumstances of the case and fined me the maximum amount of £1300.00 and banned me from driving for 18 months.

I hand in my notice at Tescos as obviously I can no longer be a delivery driver for them. I take my beloved car to "we buy anycar" and after finding out that the car was a write off and was basically 2 different cars bolted together I take a massive loss of £4000.00 just to get rid of it.

Start a new job at the local Car Wash, earning less than the minimum wage and it's back breaking work. Still it's better than nothing and your not gonna find a decent job within walking distance of home. To supplement my shit wages I get a job as a match day steward at Ipswich Town Football Club. Ipswich have been in steep decline and now ply there trade in Div1 since being relagated from the championship, the quality of football is poor but the job is easy and I get to watch the game for free and get paid.

           August

With the start of the new season under new manager Kieran McKenna optomism is high and the team get off to a flying start and play some good stuff which brings the crowds flooding back.

           October

A friend of mine called John Paganni who used to be a customer when I ran the Skinners Arms came into the car wash one day, whilst talking to him I said I was looking for a better job and he needed a labourer for his Fencing & Landscaping Co. He offered me more money than I was getting at the car wash so i handed in my notice there and strarted working for him the next week.

If I thought the car wash was back breaking work it was nothing compared to this with lots of heavy lifting and bending over but Shane (the other labourer) helped me a lot and we became good mates. It was interesting and varied work and we even done a new drive for Alan Brazil, an ITFC legend.

Dad is very much on his last legs now, his dementia has got really bad. He doesn't talk hardly at all and when he does it is normally to ask for more Whisky or money to go to the pub. He gets drunk everynight, falling over and injuring himself. I do feel sorry for him but all we do is argue and he constantly tells me to Fuck Off out of his house but he doesn't seem to realise that I'm the only thing keeping him at home because if i left he would have to go into a care home. Mum is deaf and almost blind, her arthritus is crippling her and I have to do everything for the pair of them.
